The week leading up to our 10th anniversary, 08/24/24, we have a whole week of activities planned for the people who got us here: our community. The celebrations will culminate in a party and our annual membership sale on Saturday.

Come 8 PM, we’re gonna go LIGHTS OUT! It’s like climbing out with the stars, but even better. Bring your own headlamp to illuminate your climb, or try out a new model from Black Diamond, who will have a headlamp demo set up on site.

Wednesday, 08/21/24
A friendly competition for everyone, with beginner, intermediate and advanced category membership time winners! Here’s how it’ll work: entry is free, just show up at 6 pm and register to climb. From the current boulders in the gym, mark which ones you complete between 6-9 pm. Volume is the name of the game, with membership time on the line!
French Style Comp - 6 PM

Put your thinking cap on - it’s trivia time! Teams of three will compete in various categories of trivia about Metrorock, VT climbing and climbing in general. The winning team will be winning membership time. No preregistration is required, and entry is free. Just come ready with a team name!
Trivia Night - 8 PM
Bring your PJ’s and a sleeping bag - it’s movie night! We’ll be taking over the back kids area and bouldering walls to project a climbing film classic: TO COME. There will be movie snacks, drinks and blankets to share.

1 PM - 5 PM: Free entry for the ropes course and free belays from our staff
5:30 PM to close: Backyard party with games, a fire, s’mores material, music, drinks and a cake cutting for our birthday!
