Meet Our Team
Manager: Joe Corrado
Joe has been part of the Metrorock setting crew since 2016, including a stint as the head setter of our New York City locations. He moved back to the great state of Vermont in 2021 and is thrilled to be a part of the MetroVT community once again. Co-Founder: Peter Kamitses
PK has been climbing in New England for over 30 years. He’s spent many years working in the climbing gym industry with routesetting for competition, commercial venues and National Level competitions under his belt. He has climbed in over a dozen countries around the world and has repeated almost every hard sport climb in New England (as well as establishing a handful of them himself). He also enjoys headpointing and has authored and repeated some of the hardest trad climbs in North America. In 2014 he co-founded and helped design MetroRock Vermont to bring a full size modern climbing gym to his local community.
Head Setter: Julie Clark
Julie began her climbing career on Team Waimea, based out of the now extinct Boston Rock Gym, in 2016. Since then, she has been on the national stage for climbing 5 times, a coach for the UVM competition climbing team, an avid outdoor climber and secret home chef. Head Coach: Jasper Jarecki
Jasper is dedicated to uplifting the social and emotional lives of the kids in our community. He manages our youth teams curriculum so that our athletes can achieve their loftiest climbing goals. Programs Manager: Luke Moutier
Luke found climbing in the summer of 2017 in Southern California. Originally from San Diego, he eventually found his way to Vermont for school and has made Burlington his home. You will find him giving equal time to both bouldering and sport climbing, indoor and out. When he isn’t climbing, he enjoys taking his dog, Maple, on hikes as well as writing music in his bedroom studio.

Assistant Manager: Juliette Lilly
Juliette joined the MetroRock community a year ago when she relocated to Vermont after finishing her degree at Wesleyan. Originally from New York City, Juliette has fallen in love with Burlington and finds joy climbing both in and out of the gym. When she’s not at MetroRock, you can find her singing with her guitar, reading a book, or laughing with friends. Facilities Manager: Kelly Nelson
Rigby has been with Metrorock since 2022 when she began working at the Brooklyn gym. In July 2023 she moved to Winooski, VT in order to be closer to mountains, green spaces, and mud. Rigby takes immense pride in being able to run up any fourth class terrain faster than you. When she’s not at the gym or outside, she enjoys spending quiet time on the couch and thinking about what time she’s going to have dinner.
