Do you not know where to start with climbing training or have you ever wondered if you’re training correctly? 


The main focus of Training for Climbing 101 is to introduce climbers to climbing training through structured training plans, which will be customized for each participant. An assessment will be completed by each member to get a baseline for their training plan. We will analyze where you are with your climbing, training, and goals to find the best path forward for your plan. 


Training plans can be structured for any climber - boulderer or rope climber from beginner to advanced! For example, an experienced climber could have a more training-heavy routine, while a beginner climber could benefit from a plan with more on-the-wall skills. Plans will consist of a multitude of different exercises that will be done in phases that will build upon each other to increase performance. Participants will learn how to manage training intensity, recovery, and much more.
